GoodDi Privacy Policy

In accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, "GoodDi" establishes and discloses the following privacy policy to protect data subjects' personal information and handle related concerns promptly.

Effective since April 24, 2025; revised on [August 13, 2026].

Article 1 (Purpose of Processing) "GoodDi" (the "App") processes personal information for the following purposes only:

  1. Providing app services: weather information, diary writing/management, photo attachment, diary sharing, and notifications.
  2. Service improvement and stability: usage analytics (Analytics), error/crash diagnostics (Crashlytics).
  3. Advertising: displaying ads to keep the service free (AdMob).

Article 2 (Items Processed)

  1. Location (optional) — for local weather; collected only with location permission.
  2. Photos (optional) — for attaching/sharing photos in diaries; collected only with photo permission.
  3. Notification permission (optional) — for diary reminders.
  4. Device identifiers and usage data (automatic) — collected via Firebase and AdMob for analytics and advertising (advertising identifier, app usage, approximate location based on IP, etc.).
  5. Diagnostic data (automatic) — collected via Firebase Crashlytics for error/crash diagnostics.

Article 3 (Processing and Retention Period) Content created by the user (diaries, photos) is stored only on the user's device and retained until the app or data is deleted. Information collected for analytics, diagnostics, and advertising is processed and retained under the policies of the respective third-party services (Article 9).

Article 4 (Provision to Third Parties) The App does not provide user-created content (diaries, photos) to third parties and does not store it on external servers. However, the App uses the third-party services in Article 9 for operation, and limited device and usage information may be processed by those services in this process.

Article 5 (Rights of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them) Users may at any time:

  1. Change location, photo, and notification permissions in app settings.
  2. Delete diaries and related data within the app.
  3. Remove related data by deleting the app.
  4. Limit the use of advertising-related data through device settings (e.g., Limit Ad Tracking / resetting the advertising identifier).
